Superfoam Limited staff volunteered yesterday at the 2019 Mega Medical Camps, Muranga Edition.
The medical camp was conducted on 1st August 2019 at Thungururu Primary School in Ithanga, Muranga county.
Medical experts from Lions Club of Peponi and Lion Sightfirst Eye Hospital, the main sponsors of the medical event, came in handy by offering free healthcare expertise to the beneficiaries.
The Muranga Edition Medical Camp saw over 2500 locals get treated to free check ups for cervical cancer, TB, Blood pressure, diabetes, arthritis, respiratory ailments among others.
During the check up, patients who were found to have conditions that require specialised treatment and care were referred to other health facilities for further examinations.
The medical camps have been ongoing for the past two weeks in Nairobi, Machakos and Muranga counties, reaching up to over 7500 beneficiaries.
